The Guinness International Champions Cup officially kicked off last Thursday, July 24 in Toronto with a match featuring Olympiacos and AC Milan. Olympiacos defeated AC Milan, 3-0, with Alejandro Dominguez responsible for the initial goal in the 16th minute.  A little under 30 minutes later, Dimitrios Diamantakos doubled Milan’s score and in the 78th minute, midfilder Andreas Bouchalakis secured the third and final goal resulting in the victory. Manchester United faced AS Roma in Denver two days later. Real Madrid also faced Inter Milan in Berkeley, Calif.

MIAMI, FL (July 23, 2014) – Relevent Sports, a division of RSE Ventures, today announced DJ Martin Garrix will be the featured halftime entertainment for the Guinness International Champions Cup Final on August 4 at Sun Life Stadium. The halftime is hosted by Life In Color and presented by Cricket Wireless. It will feature DJ Martin Garrix, whose song “Animals” has been a mainstay on 2014 charts as one of the biggest EDM tracks. Life In Color is now one of the biggest event brands in Electronic Dance Music (EDM), with the promotion the first to be asked to host a halftime show for a major televised sporting event in North America.

The International Champions Cup officially kicksoff tomorrow! For our last team preview we will highlight historic club, Manchester United F.C. This English football club has won the most League titles of any other English club in history. The club has secured 11 FA Cups, four League Cups, a record twenty FA Community Shields, three European Cups, one UEFA Cup Winners’ Cup, one UEFA Super Cup, one Intercontinental Cup,  and one FIFA Club World Cup. A number of the “Red Stars” showed face in the 2014 FIFA World Cup.

With one day left until kickoff, today’s team preview highlights one of the most popular clubs in the world, Real Madrid. Real Madrid, also known as Real, is one of the most recognized professional soccer clubs in the world. The team has easily become one of the most successful with 32 Spanish League titles, 18 Copa del Rey titles and 10 Eurpoean Championship trophies. FIFA named Real Madrid the top team of the 20th century and will be looking to secure its International Champions Cup championship for a second year in a row.

Liverpool F.C. is one of the most successful clubs in England and has won more European titles than any other team. The club is a part of the Premier League and has secured five European Cups, three UEFA Cups and three UEFA Super Cups including 18 League titles, seven FA Cups and a eight League Cups. The club has two strong and historic rivals, Everton and Manchester United. Liverpool’s roster is made up of many of the best players currently in the world.

We continue our team previews with a look at Manchester City as it is now just two days until the Guinness International Champions Cup begins in Toronto. Apart of the English Premier League, “The Blues” won the  Premier League title in 2012 and has won 25 major trophies in the team’s history, including the FA Cup, League Cup and European Cup Winners’ Cup. Manchester City’s roster is made up of some of the league’s best players. Argentine forward Sergio Aquero played in the 2014 FIFA World Cup, but suffered injuries after the match against Nigeria.

Miami, FL – On Saturday, August 9, 2014, the Miami Dolphins Cheerleaders kick off the NFL season with their annual Swimsuit Calendar Unveiling and Fashion Show at the Fontainebleau’s LIV nightclub in Miami Beach. The evening’s events begin at 8 p.m. and feature the ladies in a high-energy swimwear fashion show. Tickets to the event are limited but can be purchased in advance for $25 or in cash at the door for $30, which includes entrance to the event and a 2015 Swimsuit Calendar.
