Dolphins Cycling Challenge Announces Date for DCC V

Event has raised almost $7 million for cancer research; moves to February 7-8, 2015 Ft. Lauderdale/Miami/Palm Beach FL – The Dolphins Cycling Challenge Board of Directors announced today that the fifth annual Dolphins Cycling Challenge (DCC) will be held on February 7-8, 2015.  Previously held in November each year, DCC V will be moved permanently to the weekend after the Super Bowl. The Dolphins Cycling Challenge is a two-day, tri-county cycling event dedicated to raising funds for lifesaving cancer research. This major community initiative is a collaborative effort between the Miami Dolphins and the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine, with 100% of the rider-raised funds going directly to fund critical cancer research at Sylvester Comprehensive Cancer Center.

Event Guide: Soulfrito

Soulfrito, The Urban Latin Music Festival, comes to Sun Life Stadium on Saturday February 22nd.  Founded in 2002, Soulfrito is the nation’s longest running annual Urban Latin music festival and will feature headling performance by Don Omar, Nas and Busta Rhymes.  The music starts at 2:00 pm. Parking for the event will be $20 and lots will open at 1:00 pm Event gates will open at 2:00 pm. Tickets are currently available online starting at $34. On the day of the show, ticket prices will increase by $10, starting at $44.

RecruitMilitary, the nation’s top full-service military-to-civilian recruiting firm, will be holding a veteran and spouse hiring event at Sun Life Stadium on Thursday, February 27th from 11am-3pm. Attendees will have the opportunity to speak with national and local companies including Miami Dolphins and Sun Life Stadium partner, All Star Events, Waste Management, Bank of America and Norwegian Cruise Line as well as dozens more. Countdown to Soulfrito

We are now just eight days away from Soulfrito, The Urban Latin Music Festival, making its debut at Sun Life Stadium.  Founded in 2002, Soulfrito is the nation’s longest running annual Urban Latin music festival, featuring popular and emerging talents within Urban, Latin, Pop and EDM genres.  This year’s festival will begin at 2:00 pm of February 22nd. The 2014 edition of the Soulfrito Urban Latin Music Festival will be headlined by Nas, Don Omar and Busta Rhymes. A native of Queens, New York, Nas had released eight consecutive platinum or multi-platinum albums and has six number one albums on the Billboard 200.

Event Guide: Monster Jam

Monster Jam returns on Saturday, February 8th with their biggest show ever at Sun Life Stadium featuring the world’s best Monster Trucks including Grave Digger, Wolverine, El Diablo, Mohawk Warrior, and for the first time in South Florida, Captain America. Prior to the start of the show, fans have the opportunity to attend the Party in the Pits, which begins at 2:00pm.  There, fans can take photos with the Monster Trucks and meet the drivers. Following the show, fans can meet drivers at the Gate B and H helixes to receive autographs.
