PRESS RELEASE: Due To High Demand, Upper Level Opened For Brazil Vs. Honduras Match
Brazilian Soccer Federation also announces star-studded 22-player roster
Thursday, October 31, 2013 – Sun Life Stadium officials announced today that due to increased demand for the soccer match between Brazil vs. Honduras scheduled for 7 p.m., Saturday, November 16, upper level tickets are now available for purchase. These tickets are affordably priced at $45 and can be purchased at Ticketmaster.com or by calling the stadium box office at (305) 943-6311.
“The lower and club levels for Brazil-Honduras are virtually sold out and we wanted to provide more opportunities for fans to see this highly anticipated matchup,” said Todd Boyan, Senior Vice President of Sun Life Stadium Operations.

Game Day Guide: Dolphins Vs. Bengals
The Miami Dolphins return to Sun Life Stadium to face the Cincinnati Bengals on Halloween Night for a special edition of Thursday Night Football. Kickoff is scheduled for 8:25 pm.
Important times to remember for Thursday’s game:
Parking and Tailgating Lots open at 4:30 pm
Stadium Gates open at 6:30 pm
Kickoff is scheduled for 8:25 pm
All fans are reminded to enter the stadium by 8:00 pm for a special “lights-out” pregame show.

Food Truck Invasion Returns Thursday Night
Food Trucks return to Sun Life Stadium on Halloween night for the Miami Dolphins vs. Cincinnati Bengals game! Four of South Florida’s top trucks will be featured at this week’s game and will once again be located in the parking lot outside of Gate E. The trucks will be serving food starting when the parking gates open at 4:30pm until 8:00pm, as well as the two hours following the game.
Featured trucks at this Thursday’s game include; Cheeseburger Baby, Miami Press, Box of Chacos and Food Junkies.
Hurricanes Remain Undefeated
The Miami Hurricanes improved to 7-0 and remain ranked 7th in the BCS Rankings following their 24-21 come-from-behind victory over Wake Forest on Saturday. Miami remains one of eight unbeaten teams left in college football this season.
Duke Johnson scored two fourth quarter touchdowns, including one with 53 seconds remaining to secure the victory for the undefeated Hurricanes.
The Miami Hurricanes now travel to Tallahassee to take on the 3rd ranked Florida State Seminoles. Saturday’s contest is the first top 10 meeting between the two rivals since 2003.
A Look Back At The Marlins First World Series Title
It was sixteen years ago tomorrow that the then Florida Marlins won their first World Series title at the stadium, which at the time was known as Pro Player.
October 26, 1997 – It was game 7 of the World Series, and the Marlins were coming off of a 4-1 loss to the Cleveland Indians the night before, in a game that was also played at Pro Player Stadium. 67,204 were on hand to see the Marlins tie the game in the bottom of the ninth inning and in the 11th, a single by Edgar Renteria’s drove in Craig Counsell to win the game by a score of 3-2, giving the Marlins their first World Series title in franchise history.

Game Day Guide: Hurricanes vs. Demon Deacons
The 7th ranked Miami Hurricanes face Atlantic Coast Conference opponent Wake Forest on Saturday, October 26th at Sun Life Stadium. Kickoff is scheduled for noon.
The University of Miami, who is 6-0 on the season, debuted this week at No. 7 in the first BCS rankings of the 2013 season. The Hurricanes are coming off of a 27-23, come-from-behind victory over North Carolina last Thursday night. Miami is currently riding an eight-game win streak dating back to last season, and has not lost a game in Sun Life Stadium in over a year.

A “Model” Day At Sun Life Stadium

Experience a Miami Dolphins game day at Sun Life Stadium in miniature.
It all starts hours before the gates open as cars filled with fans arrive at a feverish pace to set up their tailgates and prepare for game ahead.
As final field preparations are completed and flag presentation practice takes place inside, fans venture around the outskirts of the stadium, taking part in the various activities and visiting the Dan Marino Statue in the AT&T Grand Plaza.
As kickoff quickly approaches, fans begin filing through the gates, and ride escalators up to their seats.
