Game Time Announced: University of Miami Vs. University of Virginia
The Atlantic Coast Conference announced today that the University of Miami’s November 23rd game against the University of Virginia will kickoff at noon at Sun Life Stadium.
The 23rd ranked Miami Hurricanes travel to Durham, North Carolina this week to take on ACC Coastal Division opponent Duke. Both teams have a record of 7-2 on the season.
Virginia, who is currently 2-8 on the season, does not have another game before traveling to South Florida to take on the Hurricanes on November 23rd.
Hurricanes Remain Undefeated
The Miami Hurricanes improved to 7-0 and remain ranked 7th in the BCS Rankings following their 24-21 come-from-behind victory over Wake Forest on Saturday. Miami remains one of eight unbeaten teams left in college football this season.
Duke Johnson scored two fourth quarter touchdowns, including one with 53 seconds remaining to secure the victory for the undefeated Hurricanes.
The Miami Hurricanes now travel to Tallahassee to take on the 3rd ranked Florida State Seminoles. Saturday’s contest is the first top 10 meeting between the two rivals since 2003.
Miami Hurricanes Debut At No. 7 in BCS Standings
Following a wild weekend of college football which saw six of the top 11 teams lose, the Miami Hurricanes debuted at No. 7 in the first BCS rankings of the 2013 season. Earlier in the day, it was announced that Miami moved up three spots to No. 7 in the AP Top 25 poll, and No. 6 in the USA Today Sports Top 25 Coaches poll.
The Hurricanes were victorious last Thursday night when running back Dallas Crawford scored the go-ahead three-yard touchdown with 16 seconds remaining to give the Hurricanes a 27-23 over North Carolina.
Hurricanes Return to South Florida 6-0
Running back Dallas Crawford scored the go-ahead three-yard touchdown with 16 seconds remaining to give the 10th ranked Miami Hurricanes a 27-23 victory over North Carolina last night. The victory improves the Hurricanes record to 6-0 on the season, their best start since 2004.
The Hurricanes now return home to face ACC opponent Wake Forest on October 26th. Kickoff is scheduled for noon.
Wake Forest, who is currently 3-3 on the season, faces Maryland this Saturday before traveling to South Florida to take on the Hurricanes the following Saturday.
Hurricanes Beat The Rain For A Great Day Of Football At Sun Life
In a sure sign that spring is officially here, big storm clouds rolled in over Sun Life Stadium on Saturday, threatening the scheduled 3 p.m. start to the University of Miami Spring Game.
As kickoff approached, though, the overcast skies cleared, giving way to perfect conditions for some afternoon football.
For the first time since November, Hurricanes football was back at Sun Life Stadium, as the team wrapped up its spring schedule with the annual Orange-White game in front of a crowd of Canes-crazy fans.
