Top 10 Moments of 2013: No. 1 – Dolphins Defeat Patriots in Dramatic Fashion
In dramatic fashion, the Miami Dolphins defeated the New England Patriots by a score of 24-20 in front of a packed house on December 15th to earn the No. 1 Moment at Sun Life Stadium in 2013.
Down 20-17 late in the game, quarterback Ryan Tannehil drove the Dolphins down the field in under three minutes, over the course of nine plays, capping off the drive with a 14-yard touchdown pass to running back Marcus Thigpen to go ahead 24-20. Tannehill finished the day with 312 yards passing, completing 25 of 37 passes for three touchdowns.
