ORANGE BOWL TEAM PREVIEWS: Georgia Tech. vs. Mississippi State

Mississippi State (No. 7) and Georgia Tech. (No. 12) will meet at Sun Life Stadium on Dec. 31 to face off in the 2014 Capital One Orange Bowl. Georgia Tech from the Atlantic Coast Conference secured a reputation of one of the best rushing offenses in college football this season. Quarterback Justin Thomas leads an offense ranked third nationally in rushing yards (333.6 ypg) and first in third down efficiency (57%). Thomas is ranked fourth in the nation among quarterbacks with 965 rushing yards and 17 passing touchdowns.

GAMEDAY GUIDE: Baltimore Ravens vs. Miami Dolphins

Miami Dolphins football returns to our home turf this Sunday as the team takes on the Baltimore Ravens at Sun Life Stadium in the first of three December home games. This week’s game theme will be centered around Play 60, an NFL movement focused on encouraging kids to be active for 60 minutes each day. We would like to provide you with a parking and traffic update for your commute to Sunday’s game: Due to the Toys in the Sun Run, portions of southbound Interstate 95 and westbound Interstate 595 will be shut down from 10 a.m.

GAMEDAY GUIDE: Florida State vs. Miami

The Miami Hurricanes return home this Saturday to take on the No. 2-ranked Florida State Seminoles. The game is set to kickoff at 8 p.m. This game serves as Military Appreciation night at Sun Life Stadium. The U.S. Army Golden Knights Parachute Team will drop in holding the American Flag, Tom Spooner of the U.S. Army Special Operations Command will serve as honorary captain as part of Mission 22, families of deceased veterans will help with a Gold Star Pin awareness presentation with the Army Survivor Outreach Services program, and members of Wounded Warriors of South Florida will also be recognized in on-field ceremonies.
