The University of Miami today announced their support for the efforts to modernize Sun Life Stadium with private funds, adding to the growing support for this proposal. Blake James, the University of Miami Athletic Director, said:

“The Miami Hurricanes are proud to call Sun Life Stadium our home and we are excited about the prospect of playing in a state-of-the art facility.  We look forward to working with the Dolphins on this privately-funded project, which will enhance the fan experience during UM football games and provide our football student-athletes with an amazing home-field advantage.”
