New Stadium
All of the exterior stadium gates have been re-labeled in an effort to make the way-finding more intuitive. Previously, gates were labeled as A-H. We have re-named the gates based on direction. As an example, what was formerly Gate G is now the South Gate and the former Gate C is now the North Gate.

Representing South Florida’s vibrant restaurant scene is a number of local restaurants with a new presence in the stadium. Joining the prestigious line up of brands working with Centerplate to serve fans local and fresh flavors on game days are:
Additionally, Centerplate welcomes back Sushi Maki (Sections 126 and 206), Bru’s Room (Sections 101 and 303), Bokampers (Mezzanine 32), Cold Stone Creamery (at Sweet Cream locations), BurgerFi (Sections 114A, 134, 350) and Papa John’s (Sections 308, 327, 336, 355) to enhance the game day experience. Award-winning chef Michelle Bernstein also re-joins the line-up on the Club and Suite level, with sandwiches, salads and bakery recipes from Crumb on Parchment (Section 213 and suite menus).

The Grand Plaza by the South Gate showcases Dolphins branded NFL experience-style interactives, photo opportunities, meet and greets with alumni, cheerleaders and T.D. as well as live music. Another feature is the longest foosball table in Florida, which spans 25-feet long and can accommodate up to 50 players at one time.
Fans at East Gate on the Don Shula Plaza can experience youth football interactive, including a race the clock feature, Under Armour obstacle course and 40-yard dash. The Dolphins truck will entertain fans with music and performances by the Dolphins Cheerleaders and Fins Force as well as 12-foot high Fin Carts – portable carts featuring music, PA and a T-shirt cannon.
The Bank of America Joe Robbie Alumni Plaza near the North Gate showcases the greatness of the Dolphins 50-year rich history through Hall of Fame displays and the Walk of Fame exhibit. Various tailgate experiences make this a unique destination for large and small groups attending the game.

Throughout 2015 Life in Color has been on a global paint crusade with their “Big Bang The
Creation of Color” world tour with stops including Hong Kong, Istanbul, Johannesburg, Lima, Colombia, Honduras and 130 other cities around the world. In 2015 Life In Color became EDM’s most international brand, throwing events in every continent, and 63 countries. Life In Color also kicked off a weekly residency in Ibiza, at the world’s largest club Privilege, featuring DJs including Laidback Luke, Chuckie, Headhunterz and Fedde Le Grand.
Touring with the “Paint Factory” stage that was debuted at last year’s LIC Miami festival, the Big Bang tour has aimed to answer the age old question: How did color come to be? It’s an
ambitious pursuit that spanned all of 2015 and involved combing the country for the most
rambunctious paint partiers in the universe, with help along the way from some of dance music’s most colorful characters. DJs featured on the tour include Diplo, Showtek, TJR and Bro Safari.

The Modernization of Sun Life Stadium is underway. When complete in 2017, Sun Life Stadium will be a first-class facility, which will bring Super Bowls, College Championships, international soccer and concerts to South Florida for decades to come.
New features will include:
The stadium will be modernized in two phases, in a manner that will not impact any football games. Many of the renovations will be done for the 2015 season and the remainder will be completed by the 2016 season. While in-stadium events will not take place during the renovation period, events will be held on stadium grounds year-round.

]]>Georgia Tech from the Atlantic Coast Conference secured a reputation of one of the best rushing offenses in college football this season. Quarterback Justin Thomas leads an offense ranked third nationally in rushing yards (333.6 ypg) and first in third down efficiency (57%). Thomas is ranked fourth in the nation among quarterbacks with 965 rushing yards and 17 passing touchdowns. Synjyn Days and Zach Laskey both ranked in the top eight in conference rushing. Days has averaged 110.7 yards over the last 6 games.
Quayshawn Nealy has led a defense ranked second in the nation with six defensive touchdowns. Nealy also secures second on the team in tackles and has had two touchdowns himself.
Mississippi State of the Southeastern Conference made history in 2014 with the first 10-win regular season. Coach Dan Mullen has led an offense that broke school single-season records for total points and total yards. Their offense is ranked fifth in the nation with 506.2 ypg and 15th in scoring offense with 37.2 ppg.
Dak Prescott ranks in the top 5 in the SEC in passing yards and passing touchdowns. He is ranked fifth in the nation in rushing yards and leads the conference in rushing touchdowns with a total of 13. Josh Robinson ranks third in the conference with 1,128 rushing yards and 11 rushing touchdowns.
The Bulldogs’ defense is ranked tenth in the nation with a total of 19.4 ppg. Preston Smith leads the defense with 9 sacks and ranks fifth in the SEC.
Benardrick McKinney leads the team with 61 tackles and 3 fumble recoveries.
Georgia Tech visits the Orange Bowl for the seventh time in history. They hold a record of 3-3 in the Bowl game. Mississippi State has not seen the Orange Bowl since 1941 and holds a record of 1-1 for this game. The teams have previously met four times with the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets holding a strong 4-0 record over the Bulldogs. The last meeting was in 2009 and ended with a win for Paul Johnson and the Mississippi State Bulldogs.
About the 2014 Orange Bowl
The 2014 Capital One Orange Bowl will be played on December 31 at Sun Life Stadium in South Florida, is part of the New Year’s Six Bowls and pits the ACC Champion (or highest ranking ACC team if the champion goes to the College Football Playoff) against the highest ranked available non-champion from the Big Ten, SEC, or Notre Dame.
